IQ IQZWSRN

The IQZWSRN is the IQ Siren 8, a wireless indoor siren designed to add audible and visual alerts throughout the home. It uses Z-Wave Plus 800 series technology to communicate with a compatible IQ security system. The IQ Siren 8 plugs into a standard wall outlet.

The IQ Siren 8 produces an alarm sound up to 105 dB when triggered. A built-in strobe light provides a visual alert at the same time. You can choose from different sounds and volume levels to customize how the siren responds to system events.

The siren plugs directly into a standard electrical outlet for primary power. It also includes a built-in rechargeable 450 mAh lithium battery for backup operation. This allows the siren to continue providing protection during a power interruption.

When paired as a Z-Wave Plus device, the IQ Siren 8 can also act as a repeater for the Z-Wave network. It supports both Z-Wave Plus and Z-Wave Long Range communication. The manufacturer specifies a range of up to 550 feet outdoors with Z-Wave Plus and up to 1,400 feet outdoors with Z-Wave Long Range.

The IQ Siren 8 is designed for convenient placement in areas such as living rooms, bedrooms, basements, garages, and kitchens. Up to three IQ Sirens can be paired with an IQ Panel. Enrollment is performed through the panel's Z-Wave menu, making the siren a straightforward way to extend audible and visual alarm notification.
