Description
The DSC HS40WPSA is a 18VDC 2.2A Plug-in Transformer. It's compatible with the PG8WLSHW8, PG9WLSHW8, PG9HRDW8, and the IQ PRO. It is UL rated. The input rating is a standard 120VAC, 60Hz at 1.2A of current draw. The wire run limit for the transformer is 13 feet when 18-gauge cabling is used. Do not exceed the listing wire specifications. Wiring for the unit is not included.
The positive (+) and the negative (-) terminals on the HS40WPSA are labeled. Please be sure to connect the wires properly. You will need a screwdriver to secure the wires in the terminals. The DSC HS40WPSA is built for indoor use only. Do not use the transformer in an environment where it may be exposed to excessive moisture.
