Description

The Honeywell 7626-25HC is an AlarmNet 25’ RF antenna coax cable which allows you to mount your AlarmNet GSM-ANT3DB external weatherproof antenna up to 25’ from your cellular or dual path AlarmNet alarm monitoring communicator if you are experiencing celluar signal strength issues.

Typically, extending an external GSM antenna with a coax cable will reduce the cellular signal strength. However, the 7626-25HC is a low loss coax cable which minimizes the gain lost by adding an extension cable. Also, the GSM-ANT3DB external antenna is a much stronger gain antenna than the internal antenna found in the AlarmNet cellular alarm monitoring communicators and dual path alarm monitoring communicators. In fact, the GSM-ANT3DB is a 3dBi gain antenna while the internal antenna is a 1.3dBi gain antenna. Therefore, the GSM-ANT3DB antenna is almost (3) times as strong as the internal antenna. By mounting the GSM-ANT3DB on the outside of your home, you eliminate any environmental hazards that may be weakening the cellular signal strength. With the 25’ 7626-25HC, you are able to mount the GSM-ANT3DB high up on your home or even on a nearby tree or post to get the best possible point of cellular reception.

The Honeywell 7626-25HC coax cable is not included with the GSM-ANT3DB. You must purchase the 7626-25HC separately. The coax cable uses male N connectors at both ends to connect the GSM-ANT3DB to the WA7626-CA adapter cable. You do not need a 7626-25HC if you are only adding the GSM-ANT indoor external antenna to your dual path or cellular alarm monitoring communicator.
