Resideo is announcing the disconnuance of the 6148
, 6148EX, 6148ICON & 6148SP keypads upon stock
exhauson.
Recommended Replacement Opons:
6148
: The 6150 Fixed English Keypad is the recommended
alternave to the 6148. The 6150 keypad
features the same Fixed English display, keys and f
uncons as the 6148 but, offers the addional benefit

of four dedicated funcon keys. The funcon keys ca
n be programmed for quick arming Away, Stay &
Night as well as emergency keys for Police, Fire &
Medical. The 6150 is compable with the same VISTA
panels as the 6148.
6148ICON
: The 6150 Fixed English Keypad is the recommended
alternave to the 6148ICON. The display
and keys differ between the two. Whereas the 6148ICO
N keypad uses pictures/icons to describe the user
acons and status, the 6150 keypad display and keys
use English words to show the user acons and
status. The 6150 is compable with the same VISTA p
anels as the 6148ICON.
6148SP
:
Resideo recommends moving to the VISTAH3 series sys
tem. The VISTAHPKP & VISTAHLKP 2X16
alpha displays offer both Spanish and Portuguese lan
guages. Please contact your local district sales
manager for more informaon about the VISTAH3 syste
m.
6148EX:
The 6150 Fixed English Keypad is the recommended
alternave for the 6148EX keypad. The
6150 keypad features the same Fixed English display
, keys and funcons as the 6148EX but, offers the
addional benefit of four dedicated funcon keys. Th
e funcon keys can be programmed for quick
arming Away, Stay & Night as well as emergency keys
for Police, Fire & Medical. The 6150 is compable
with the same VISTA panels as the 6148.
Note: The 6150 does not offer the tamper feature inc
luded with the 6148EX.
