Note
: The image below uses a generic dome camera for reference. Specific Alarm.com camera models may differ from
this representation.
The camera's cowl must be removed in order to install the video device. Retain the camera screws and cover for re-
installation after cable routing and mounting is complete.

2 Installation instructions
Note
: The illustration below uses a generic dome camera for reference. Specific Alarm.com camera models may differ
from this representation.
1.
Route power lines and other cables through the wall and the bracket.
2.
Determine the installation location for the Gooseneck Bracket and camera.
a.
Drill holes on the wall for securing the bracket and for routing the cables. Holes for the bracket anchors
should be 10 mm in diameter and 60 mm deep.
b.
Secure the Gooseneck Bracket by hammering the anchors into the wall, then fasten the screws into the
anchors.
3.
Attach the mounting adapter to the bracket by feeding the threads and rotating it clockwise until it is tightly
fastened.
Caution
: When hammering the threaded anchors into the wall, leave the nuts and washers on them to help prevent the
top of the threaded poles from becoming deformed during the process.

4.
Use a hex wrench to secure the mounting adapter to the Gooseneck Bracket.
5.
Follow the installation instructions for the mounting adapter to install the camera.
6.
When cable routing is complete, proceed with initial device setup such as enabling network access, focus tuning,
or zooming.
7.
Re-install the dome cowl.
