Dear Valued Customer,

Resideo has idenfied an issue affecng a small numbe
r of LTEM-PIA Communicators where the Cell LED
on the device is not illuminang, indicang the cel
lular path cannot register to the carrier. As a res
ult,
only the IP path can be registered, and communicao
ns will only funcon through ethernet or WiFi.
If an affected unit has been programmed for dual-pat
h communicaon and the cellular path is not
working, the central staon will receive a reporng
trouble message, contact ID E350, zone 952 within
programmed Cellular Fault me, which is by default
1 hour indicang the cellular path is down. If
ethernet or WiFi goes down on an affected unit, the
device will not be able to communicate, however
the central staon will be nofied via a trouble ale
rt within 24 hours of supervision.
Affected products were manufactured in July of 2024
and contain the following date codes:

The date code can be found on the device packaging,
as shown below.


Resideo requests that customers return any uninstal
led or unopened LTEM-PIA Communicators with the
affected date codes (2427 and 2428) to the original
ADI locaon of purchase for a full replacement/
exchange. Communicators with different date codes ar
e unaffected by this issue.
Addionally, Resideo will deacvate the MACs associ
ated with the affected unregistered devices to
prevent them from being registered.
