Description
The Alarm.com ADC-VACC-AO-015 is an accessory cable designed specifically for use with Alarm.com PRISM Series 8MP dome cameras. This cable is required to access the audio line-in and audio line-out connections on compatible models, allowing external audio devices to be integrated into the camera system.
This accessory is used with the Alarm.com PRISM Series ADC-VC8498PA varifocal dome camera and the fixed-lens dome models, including the ADC-VC8498P-PVT. This cable allows for two-way audio support, by utilizing the audio line-level connections.
The ADC-VACC-AO-015 breaks out the camera’s audio interface to provide dedicated line-in and line-out connections. This allows installers to connect an external microphone for audio monitoring or an external speaker for audio playback.
