The Alarm.com ADC-VACC-SS solar stake accessory provides a freestanding mounting option for the ADC-VACC-SP4W solar panel. It allows the camera and solar panel to be installed around the perimeter of a property without relying on a wall, fence, or other existing structure.

This mounting solution is useful for monitoring yards, driveways, garden areas, and other locations where a wall-mounted camera would not provide the desired viewing angle. The adjustable camera bracket allows the camera to be aimed toward the area being monitored, while the separate solar panel mount helps position the panel for better exposure to direct sunlight.

The ADC-VACC-SS includes five threaded pole segments, an end piece with a 1/4-inch threaded insert, an adjustable camera mounting bracket, a solar panel mount, and a ground stake. The camera bracket includes a pole clamp, two mounting bolts with hex nuts, an adjustable pivot, a locking knob, and a 1/4-inch tripod screw. The included hardware supports mounting both the camera and the compatible solar panel on the assembled pole.

Installation involves connecting the pole segments, attaching the camera bracket and solar mount, and securing the ground stake at the base. The stake has two legs that should be positioned at a 90-degree angle to provide a wider footprint. A rubber mallet is recommended to drive the stake into the ground. Do not strike the pole, camera, or solar panel during installation.

The ADC-VACC-SS is a mounting accessory only. The ADC-V731B camera and ADC-VACC-SP4W solar panel are sold separately, but can also be purchased as a bundle. The solar panel's USB-C cable connects to the camera's USB-C port, and the panel should be installed within 9 feet (2.74 m) of the camera. Choose a location that receives at least three hours of direct sunlight daily to support solar charging.
