Description

The DSC Bravo 6 Dual PIR Motion Detector is a hardwired security device that features twin PIR sensors for accurately detecting motion and preventing false alarms. The sensor uses a specially designed lens to actively distinguish between human intruders and any small to medium pets.

Using its twin sensors, the Bravo 6 can provide pet immunity for animals weighing up to 85 pounds. The device's multi-level signal processing allows the sensor to accurately recognize the shape of the human body and respond accordingly when an intruder is present. And with temperature compensation, the sensor can always accurately detect movement, even when the ambient temperature is near that of the human body.

Both wall and corner mounting can be utilized with the Bravo 6 Sensor. For best results, the device should not be placed towards reflective surfaces, heavy air flow or sunlight. The device should also not be placed facing a stairway or a piece of furniture that a pet could access to get higher up. Remember, if a pet gets directly in front of the sensor, they will be able to set if off. This is true even if the pet is under the listed pet immunity weight.

Please note that this version of the Bravo 6 (BV-600) is Form A (normally closed wiring), and it does not include a tamper switch. Alarm Grid also offers another version of this same sensor that is Form C (normally open or normally closed wiring) and features an active tamper switch.
