Description

The Honeywell XF30 is an open frame AC transformer that provides an output voltage of 30VAC, 188VA when using the yellow wires and 18VAC, 72VA when using the blue wires. The input voltage of the XF30 transformer is 120VAC, 60VAC and should be supplied by an uninterrupted 120VAC standard wall output.

The XF30 is the recommended AC transformer when using the AD25624 power supply to power alarm devices such as alarm keypads, AlarmNet alarm monitoring communicators, wireless receiveres, wired motion detectors. wired glass break detectors and any other devices that need supplementary power. Before connecting the XF30 transformer, you should mount it securely to a wooden wall stud. The transformer will run hot once connected. You should wire the yellow wires from the XF30 open frame transformer to the ‘AC’ input terminals on the AD25624 2.5A power supply. You can use the Honeywell XF30 transformer to power the AD25624 in either operation mode (12VDC or 24VDC).

The XF30 open frame transformer steps down the 120VAC power coming from a wall outlet into a useable output voltage of 30VAC. Be careful when wiring your transformer to your wall outlet. You can blow the internal fuse of the XF30 if you do not properly connect the AC transformer. For this reason, Alarm Grid does not offer refunds on any transformers.
