Qolsys IQ Base

The Qolsys IQ Base is a combination angled desk mount and bass speaker. When it is added to the Qolsys IQ Panel 4, it turns the alarm system into a Bluetooth speaker with excellent sound. With one (1) powered, and two (2) passive sub-woofers, it adds a wonderful depth of sound to any source.

Qolsys is very adept at modifying their products to fully utilize all of their capabilities. Since the panel will have Bluetooth built-in, it makes sense to allow the panel to act as a Bluetooth speaker. If a user chooses to have the alarm panel on their desk or counter, rather than mounted to the wall, it will need an angled mounting base. And since it has Bluetooth, and can be used as a speaker, may as well make a base that amps up the bass.

The Qolsys IQ Base is made for the new Qolsys IQ Panel 4. This system will offer some significant upgrades from the IQ Panel 2 Plus, while building on the solid foundation that it provided. It will have an 8 Megapixel camera with Flex-Tilt. This feature allows the angle of the panel camera to be adjusted up or down so that disarm and peek-in images show pertinent information. The IQ Panel 4 has four (4) 4-watt speakers at the bottom front of the panel for immersive sound. The IQ Panel 4 is slightly longer, top to bottom, than the IQ Panel 2, while still retaining the small form factor that made the IQ Panel 2 so popular.
