Return Policy

For items that are returned, you, the customer, are responsible for the return cost of shipping it back to our headquarters and Alarm Grid does not refund the cost of shipping & handling. Items must be in the package, and must be in resalable condition as determined by Alarm Grid's receiving staff. RMAs for returns must be requested within 30 days for receipt of the shipment, and must be sent back within 1 week of the creation of the RMA. Items that are received in unsuitable condition will not receive a refund, and the customer will be informed via an email at which point the customer can choose to either have the items sent back or to let Alarm Grid discard them. Unsuitable condition is defined as a condition that does not allow an item to be re-sold. Items must be returned in their original packaging and in their original condition.

We do not accept the return of transformers or batteries, excepting in cases that they arrive damaged or were boxed by the manufacturer as part of a product.

Returns and Exchanges

Returns and exchanges can be made by mail. Please email us promptly, if you wish to return or cancel an order placed online. We work hard to ship orders as quickly as possible.

Returning by mail

In all cases, do NOT require that the package be signed for. Alarm Grid will not accept packages that require a signature.

Within the US: Returned items must be sent via Regular US Mail or UPS. Please make sure to obtain the tracking information for your return. Doing so will ensure that we can rectify any errors that occur at the reception of the package. 
Please Note: We cannot accept CODs, courier deliveries, or packages that require a signature.

Outside the US: Ship goods prepaid, by insured ground shipping. To avoid unnecessary delays, please write “U.S. Goods returning” on the outside of the package. Please Note: Do not return items by UPS or other carriers, as duty and / or brokerage fees will be charged, and your return will be refused by Alarm Grid.

If you are requesting an exchange, please remember to include sufficient payment for the return postage. Where applicable, please contact your local customs office for information about any taxes or duties that may be assessed on a return shipment.
