Dear Valued Resideo Customer:


A potential issue has been discovered when a CellBo
unce (CB34UDRES01A) is used on an AlarmNet account
using
a VISTA® Control Panel with a GSMV4G Communicator.
This issue is only occurring when the GSMV4G couple
d
with software version 2.10.15. The issue may result
in a communication failure of the GSMV4G device wh
ich will
result in the CellBounce device not being able to e
stablish a connection.
This small subset of accounts using a GSMV4G with s
oftware version 2.10.15 should not be used with a C
ellBounce
device. These accounts should upgrade to LTE using
a traditional Resideo LTE communicator such as LTEM
-XA or
LTEM-XV.
Please take the time to see if you have any of thes
e affected accounts, we expect it to be a minor seg
ment of your
total GSMV4G account base.
How to identify these accounts
:
1.

Log into AlarmNet 360
2.

Visit the Insights Dashboard
3.

Scroll to the bottom of the page, and expand the "V
ista" section under "Communicator Models" by hittin
g
the blue arrow

4.

Locate the line listing for "GSMV4G" and click into
the box

5.

The scroll to top of page, and click the "EXPORT" b
utton

6.

Click "Export" again when the Customize Report box
pops up
7.

Open the spreadsheet
8.

Highlight row 9, and then click the Filter button
9.

Open the filter under "Panel Software Version," unc
heck the "Select All" button, then look for and onl
y
click the "2.10.15" button.

With that filter, you will only see accounts with t
he specific hardware and software versions that may

cause you to experience an error when adding a Cell
Bounce device
