: The screws for installing the AM-114 are not included with the accessory, and must be user-supplied.
Screws should be at least 11 mm long.

Note
: The image below uses a generic dome camera for reference. Specific Alarm.com camera models may differ from
this representation.
The camera's cowl must be removed in order to install the video device. Retain the camera screws and cover for re-
installation after cable routing and mounting is complete.

2 Installation instructions
Note
: The illustration and steps below utilize an AM-117 Pendant Pipe and a generic dome camera for referencing.
Specific Alarm.com camera models may differ from this representation.
1.
Determine a hard ceiling surface for the installation location. Use the four mounting holes on the AM-114 pendant
to mark the positions where holes will be drilled in order to secure the pendant head.
2.
Drill holes on the ceiling where previously marked for the pendant head. Secure the pendant head by hammering
anchors into the ceiling, then fasten screws into them.
3.
Route power lines and other cables through the side bushing and/or conduits, then through the pendant pipe.
Note
: Side bushing and conduits are not included with the AM-117, and must be user-supplied.
4.
Thread the pendant pipe to the pendant head by rotating it clockwise until it is tightly fastened.

5.
Secure the pendant pipe and pendant head connection using the included hex wrench.
6.
Thread the appropriate mounting adapter to the pendant pipe by rotating it clockwise until it is tightly fastened.
7.
Secure the mounting adapter and pendant pipe connection using the included hex wrench.
8.
Mount the Prism Series Camera to the adapter plate (i.e., AM-528 or AM-52E).
Note
: For both adapter plates, secure the Prism Series Camera to the adapter using the
A
hole definitions on the
adapter plate.
9.
When cable routing is complete, proceed with initial device setup such as enabling network access, camera
positioning, or focus tuning.
10.
Re-install the dome cowl.
