2GIG GC Touch Firmware Updates
2GIG regularly releases firmware updates for its products, including the 2GIG GC Touch. These updates add new features, improve performance, and resolve known issues. Keeping your panel up to date ensures optimal performance and long term reliability.
Current Firmware: ROM 1.2.077
Release Date: August 2026
For step by step instructions on how to update the firmware on the 2GIG GC Touch, follow this FAQ. Before starting, make sure the panel is connected to AC power and that the backup battery is sufficiently charged.
If you have not yet updated your base firmware to 1.1.072, you can skip that update and go directly to firmware 1.2.077.

New Features & Improvements:
- Primary user can select chime options.
- Voice annunciation can be selected along with chime options.
- Date and time can be set manually on the panel.
- Improved the localization screens.
- Night Mode can be scheduled with start and end times.
- Dark Mode can be scheduled with start and end times, or set to automatically follow sunset and sunrise.
- Locks can be controlled from the Video Doorbell streaming screen.
- PAD1 no longer requires the "Enter" button after code entry.
- Chime added to walk test.
