Hikvision DS-3E0109P-E

The Hikvision DS-3E0109P-E is used in conjunction with an IP router to provide Power over Ethernet (PoE) to compatible devices. PoE is useful, because it eliminates the need to run a power cable to devices that are difficult to reach. The single ethernet cable provides both power and IP.

There are nine (9) total ethernet network ports on the Hikvision DS-3E0109P-E. One of the ports is an Uplink port to bring in IP data to the module from an IP router. The other eight (8) are for connecting compatible PoE devices, including PoE cameras and access points (APs). The module can provide a maximum of 30W of power per port, with a total power output of 123W across all ports. It also features a 1.8Gbps switching capacity and 4K MAC Address entities. Remember that this is an unmanaged PoE switch.

The Hikvision DS-3E0109P-E features a sturdy metal enclosure to ensure the protection of the equipment. Its eight (8) Auto-MDIX PoE ports are rated at 10/100Mbps. These ports also feature 4kV surge protection. The module has a data buffer rating at 1.25MB RAM. The device features LED lights to display status, and all the necessary mounting hardware comes included.
