Description

The NX-411-US-AT-LTEUP is an AT&T LTE upgrade module for Interlogix NetworX NX4V2, NX6V2, NX8V2, and NX8E panels. Because it does not include the NX Gateway module (NX592E), which is required to interface between the LTE communicator and the NetworX panel bus, it should only be used to upgrade from an older, obsolete cellular communicator to the AT&T LTE radio.

The assumption is that anyone who uses this LTE upgrade communicator will be replacing an older, obsolete CDMA or GSM communicator. In a situation like that, the NX Gateway module should already be in place. The user will simply power everything down, remove the CDMA or GSM module, replace it with the AT&T LTE upgrade module, and then power everything back up.

In order to successfully install and set up the NX-411-US-AT-LTEUP, Alarm.com recommends that you create the Alarm.com account for the device at least 24 hours prior to physically installing it. Once power has been applied to the unit, check the signal strength LEDs to find the best installation location, and then perform a phone test to register the device.

The LTE Upgrade module receives its power from the Interlogix panel, so no separate wiring for power is required. Once installed, the user will have access to the Alarm.com suite of remote automation and system control. With a built-in Z-Wave controller, both manual control, and automation, can be achieved for Z-Wave lights, locks, thermostats, and other devices, as well as the other Alarm.com third-party automation options such as Sonos, Rainbird, MyQ, and others.
