Qolsys IQ Base

The Qolsys IQ Base is a desk mount for the Qolsys IQ Panel 4. In addition, it also acts as a subwoofer, boosting the lowest frequencies. It makes a nice addition, especially for those who plan to use the IQ Panel 4 as a Bluetooth speaker. The IQ Base comes in light gray and charcoal gray.

The idea of a security system behaving as a Bluetooth speaker may seem whimsical, but if you're considering purchasing a Bluetooth speaker, and you want a security system, why not combine those two devices? Instead of having a device that acts only as a speaker, and another that acts only as a security system let a single device do both. When you think of it that way, it makes perfect sense.

The same sort of logic has gone into the creation of the Qolsys IQ Base. For users who prefer not to have the security system wall mounted, some type of desk mount or stand is needed. Rather than creating a hollow desk mount, Qolsys chose to fill the IQ Base with three (3) subwoofers. With a total of six (6) Watts of power, the IQ Base serves as an attractive desk mount while also providing rich low-frequency sound for music and other types of media. With a light gray fabric covering to go with the IQ Panel 4 in white, and a charcoal gray fabric covering to go with the IQ Panel 4 in black, the IQ Base is the perfect dual-purpose accessory.
