VIVOTEK AM-117

The VIVOTEK AM-117 is a 40 cm (15.7-inch) outdoor pendant pipe designed for compatible Prism Series camera mounting systems. It provides additional extension length between the mounting surface and camera assembly, helping installers achieve improved positioning, better viewing angles, and cleaner installations in challenging environments.

This pendant pipe is compatible with compatible mounting accessories including the AM-114 pendant head, AM-221 gooseneck mount, and the AM-218 wall mount bracket. When installed as part of a complete mounting assembly, the AM-117 helps suspend the camera farther from the ceiling or wall to improve camera coverage and reduce obstructions within the field of view.

The AM-117 uses a 1-1/2-inch PS threaded connection, allowing it to integrate with supported VIVOTEK mounting hardware. It is especially useful in installations with high ceilings, overhangs, soffits, or structural features that require additional camera clearance for proper positioning.

Constructed from aluminum alloy, the pendant pipe offers strong durability while remaining lightweight and corrosion resistant for outdoor use. The metal construction helps support long-term reliability in exposed environments where mounting hardware must withstand changing weather conditions.

For compatible dome camera installations, the AM-117 requires either the VIVOTEK AM-528 or VIVOTEK AM-52E mounting adapter to complete the installation. These adapters provide the necessary threaded interface for secure attachment to supported camera assemblies.
