Description

The Winland WB200 is a wired flood sensor. It connects directly to a wired panel and uses an attached probe to detect leaks or floods. The sensor activates once a conductive bridge is formed between two (2) contacts on the probe. Includes one WB200 Console w/ one unsupervised surface sensor.

The Winland WB200 allows up to six (6) W-S-U water sensors to be wired in parallel. This allows the WB200 to monitor 6 locations at once. If any of the sensors are tripped, the relay switches state and activates the connected alarm. If you need to know which sensor specifically was tripped, then each W-S-U sensor would need it's own WB200 console.

Mount the WB200 where it will not come in contact with water. Mount the probes on a wall to sense rising water levels or a floor for any presence of water. Each Winland W-S-U probe has four contacts for water sensing. They are unsupervised water sensors. Not to be confused with the supervised Winland W-S-S, which is not compatible. If the sensor needs secured with a screw, only drill or screw into the innermost center recessed area. Drilling or screwing into any other part of the sensor is most likely to cause permanent damage.

The WB200 can also be used to monitor water levels or the absence of water. Achieve this by mounting the probe at the desired minimum waterline and using the opposite set of relay contacts that you would use if you were detecting the presence of water.

The WB200 requires 8-28 VDC or VAC for power. Power wire from a power source connects to the V+ and GND (ground) terminals. There are two (2) sensor terminals, they do not have polarity. All (up to 6) sensors connect to these 2 terminals.

The Alarm contacts include a Normally Open (NO), Normally Closed (NC), and a Common. This allows the WB200 to be used with any type of hardwired alarm contact. The contacts should flip states about three (3) seconds after the detection or absence of water.
