PRODUCT OVERVIEW
The Model 2GIG-XCVR3-GC3 Transceiver Adapter is designed to be used with the 2GIG EDGE Security & Automation panel. The
Transceiver Adapter is a single frequency device. It receives and transmits 900MHz signals to and from the Alarm.com Image
Sensor (
2GIG-IMAGE2-GC3
).

PRODUCT COMPATIBILITY
The 2GIG EDGE panel
must be running firmware version 1.0 or later
to function with the Transceiver Adapter. The 2GIG-XCVR3-
GC3
must be running on firmware version 1.8 or later
to function with the panel. To check the current version number of the
firmware, go to the home screen of the EDGE panel and navigate to
System Info (2GIG Icon > System Info).

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Disconnect Power

(Do Not Proceed Until this Step is Complete)

a.
Unplug the AC power supply

b.
Remove the back cover from the control panel and disconnect the backup battery cablep battery cable.

2. Wire the Transceiver Adapter to the EDGE Panel

Red: AUX + Black: Common (GND) Green: RX White: TX























3. Insert the Transceiver Adapter into the Wall

Insert the Transceiver Adapter into the wall or as far away from the EDGE panel as possible. This ensures optimum signal strength.

4. Reconnect Power

a.
After the Transceiver Adapter has been installed, re-connect the backup battery cable.

b.
Reattach the back cover to the EDGE panel and plug in the AC power supply.



Troubleshooting

If you are unable to successfully add an Image Sensor to an Alarm.com customer account, follow the recommendations below and
try again:


Ensure the 2GIG-XCVR3-GC3 dongle is running the required firmware

Double check that the Transceiver Adapter has been wired correctly to the EDGE panel
