Mounting and wiring the detector
1. Toremove thescrew cover,insert aflat screw-
driver in theslotand usethe screwdriver as a
lever.See Figure2.
2. Toremovethedetector cover, removethescrew
withascrewdriver andseparatethecover from the
base. SeeFigure2.
3. ToreleasethePCB, press theflex retainer with
your finger or ascrewdriver. SeeFigure3.
4. Holdthedetector baseinits final positiononthe
door or window frameandmark anddrill twoholes
accordingtothemountingholes inthebase. Fasten
thedetector bracket tothemountingsurfacewith
twocountersunk screws. SeeFigure4. Note:
Ensurethereedswitchlocationmark onthe
detector faces thefinal locationof themagnet.

For ULandULC Commercial Burglary
installations, theuseof themountingscrews is
mandatory.
5. Fastenthemagnet inits final positionwith
