Quick Installation Guide
KEYPAD INITIALIZATION
When initially powered, the boot sequence and the "Set ECP Address" is displayed. If using one keypad, leave the address set to 1 and press Apply. If using more than one, power-up each keypad one at a time, and set each keypad address to one of the addresses enabled in the control panel. Language Selection- If applicable, after initial ECP selection is set, the “Languages” menu is displayed. Select a language.

IP SETUP – Set the IP Address

MULTI-MEDIA – Picture, Video, Camera Setup
Picture Setup: Press Multi-Media ! Picture . 1. Insert a media card (SD/SDHC) with up to 1000 stored (.bmp or .jpg) photos. 2. Press the viewing transition arrow; select Standard, Horizontal, Vertical, and Fade Out. 3. Press the Slide Delay arrow to select a time interval for viewing pictures. - Use the icons to: Play Image ! go to Next Image Image ! view Previous Image ! Deselect Image or Add

The Tuxedo Touch Keypads IP Address is used on a standard web browser to control user functions such as Security, Z-Wave operation, and camera viewing. 1. Connect an Ethernet cable to the back of the Keypad; connect the opposite end to the Ethernet Port on an existing “powered-up” router. 2. Press Setup ! IP Setup. The screen displays the IP Address and Default Gateway Address of the router. - Press the Refresh button to update IP information. *IMPORTANT NOTE: If multiple keypads are being used, they must be set to addresses 1, 2, and X (where X equals any address from 3 through 30). Only one AUI type (touch screen) device may be assigned to an address from 3 through 30 on commercial control panels.

Video Setup: Press Multi-Media ! Video . Insert a media (SD/SDHC) card (with stored video files). Maximum video resolution should not exceed 400 x 240. - Highlight a video file from the list and press Play to start the selected video file. - Press Repeat to continually replay selected video. - Deselect the Repeat icon to play the list of video files starting with the first video and ending with the last.

DATE AND TIME –

Camera Setup: See the full installation Guide for further information. • If using existing (mounted) cameras; go to Step 4. • If this is a first time setup, scan/configure the cameras prior to mounting, and then do the following: 1. Connect an Ethernet cable to the back of the camera (LAN); connect the opposite end to the Ethernet Port on the router. 2. Apply power to the camera; wait for initial power-up. 3. Press Multi-Media . 4. Press Scan to locate the camera. The screen displays: “Scanning For Camera. Please Wait…” 5. Press the Add icon if the camera information is not automatically located, to enter information manually. 6. To edit camera information, highlight the camera name and press the Edit icon. Enter required information and then press the Save icon. a) To retrieve camera settings and connect to the camera, press the Connect icon. ! Camera ! Camera Setup

NIGHT SETUP – Change arming modes

The NIGHT function can be set to arm the system in one of five arming modes. To change the arming mode; 1. Press Setup !System Setup !Advanced Setup. 2. Enter an Authorized Code. 3. Press Night Setup; select desired mode: Away - Stay - Instant (default) - Night (Residential Only) – Maximum.

DISPLAY & AUDIO SETUP- Adjust display

1. Press Setup; slide the Brightness / Volume bar up or down to change settings. Press Yes to save. 2. Press Setup ! Disp & Audio Setup; enter an Authorized Code. - To adjust the screen timeouts, select a time interval from the drop-down list for each option (Backlight Off After, To Homepage After, and Auto Slideshow After.) - Select Chime, Voice or Voice Chime operating mode. - To clean the keypad screen, press the Clean Screen icon; press Continue, or press Cancel to exit. - Press the Back arrow. Press Yes to save changes.

4. Press Automation ! Z-Wave Setup ! Z-Wave Enroll/Add. 5. Program the selected user code from the panel. Add a Honeywell Thermostat: 1. Install thermostat according to the manufactures instructions. 2. Press Automation ! Z-Wave Setup ! Z-Wave Enroll/Add; the keypad displays a series of messages. If not using a Honeywell thermostat, enrollment procedure may vary. Refer to the Thermostat instructions. 3. On the Honeywell thermostat select Thermostat; set the “Time/Date” and follow the instructions in the thermostat Installation Guide for enrollment. 4. To complete, press Done. 5. Press Exit to return to normal operation. 6. To verify activation: on the Tuxedo Touch Keypad, press Back ; wait 30 seconds. Press Refresh the new device is displayed. ;

When all cameras have been added, press Wireless Settings and enter the wireless information from the router. 8. Press Apply to All to set cameras to wireless operation and control the Security System, local Z-Wave devices and view local cameras from your browser. If the camera does not have wireless capability, leave the camera connected to the router. Use the icons to: Delete Refresh ! Auto Pan ! Play ! Stop ! ! Full View ! Quad View

SCREEN BLACKOUT (EN50131 DISPLAY)

SCENE SETUP – Define (up to 10) Scenes
The Scene feature is used to control a single device, or multiple devices based on pre-set “Conditions,” “Triggers,” and “Actions.” When a trigger/condition occurs, the defined action is executed. 1. Press Automation ! Scene Setup ! Add . 2. Press Users Scene; enter a “name” and press OK. 3. Add the “Condition,” “Trigger,” and “Action” that you want to occur for this Scene (see below). 4. After each selection press Save !! Note: Determine if you need a Condition. The Condition is a ‘condition’ set to occur prior to a trigger event. See example below. Example: Turn the lights on when the system disarms, but only at night. (Condition) … “only at Night” ….Set the TIME Condition (enter the Start Time and Duration). (Trigger) … …when the “system Disarms” …Set the Trigger to SECURITY: System Disarm (Action) … …Turn the “lights ON” … Set the Action to LIGHT: ON. Scene Rules

The Screen Blackout (EN50131 Display) compliance feature is a European Standard designed to prevent unauthorized users from viewing the status of the Security System by blanking the screen after 30 seconds; to enable: 1. Press Setup ! System Setup !CS Setup. 2. Enter an Authorized Code, if required. 3. Press Options and select "EN50131 Display" to turn the option on or off; press Apply. 1. Press Setup ! System Setup ! USER SETUP ! ADD USER. 2. Enter an Authorized Code; select each field and enter the appropriate information. 3. Press Save.

USER SETUP: Add a User

! Pan/Tilt ! Back . Notes: 1. QuickTime® media player must be installed on your PC. 2. Camera resolution should be 5 fps or lower. 3. Camera viewing is not compatible w/Opera web browser.

1. Press Setup ! System Setup ! CS Setup. 2. Enter an Authorized Code and press Screen Security. - To make changes, select the line to change and the level of user to have access, and then press Apply.

1. Press Setup ! System Setup ! CS Setup. 2. Enter an Authorized Code and press Panel Config. - Delete clears the keypad and reloads the panel configuration into the keypad.

• Triggers and Conditions include: Time setting, Security mode, Thermostat setting, and Door status. • Actions include: Security, Lights On/Off, Thermostat, and Door. • Each Trigger event can have up to 3 Actions. • A Trigger event and Condition cannot be the same (i.e., if setting a Trigger event for SECURITY, you cannot set a SECURITY Condition). • On commercial panels the programming option for “Global Keypad” must be set to “0” for some Scenes to work properly.

OUTPUT SETUP–Display (up to 18) outputs

To view the current software version installed, press Setup ! System Setup ! Advanced Setup; enter Authorized Code. Software upgrades may be available. Log in to MyWebTech and enter the model name in the “Search by” “My Product” field. Press Go; click on Tuxedo Touch software update SBS”.

This Keypad is for indoor use only and should be mounted at a comfortable viewing level. Avoid mounting in areas of high condensation such as bathrooms or in locations where bright light or sunlight shines directly on the screen. The TouchCenter can be mounted with or without the mounting plate. Use the center securing screw for European installations.
