DSC HSC3010C

The DSC HSC3010C is a metal enclosure with a hinged door. It is often used with the DSC PowerSeries panels to house expansion modules. It is described as white in color. Made of 18ga steel, this is not considered to be an attack-proof enclosure. This is a suitable enclosure to house the DSC HSM3105 MX expansion board with the Qolsys IQ Pro in residential applications.

When putting together a larger system, it is often necessary to add a secondary enclosure for add-on devices such as expansion modules, power supplies, and additional batteries. The HSC3010C is perfect for these applications. An example of this is when using the HSM3105 with the Qolsys IQ Pro. If your IQ Pro is housed in a plastic enclosure, then the HSM3105 cannot be mounted in the enclosure with the panel. Instead, you can mount the HSC3010C next to the IQ Pro, and house the HSM3105 and any additional power supply and battery in it. When using this configuration, the wiring between the HSM3105 and the IQ Pro Corbus must be no longer than 3' (1m).

The DSC HSC3010C does not come with a lock. If you need to secure your alarm panel you can purchase the DSC L-1 cabinet lock for metal enclosures.
