Leak Intel Leak Gopher LGZW-1

The Leak Intel Leak Gopher LGZW-1 is a Z-Wave water valve designed to automate control of your home's water supply. It should be connected before the master shut-off for the water supply of your home or business. This ensures that there is still a local manual shut-off further down the line.

Being able to remotely shut-off the main water supply for your home or business can really come in handy. If there is a leak or a flood while you are away, then you can use the Leak Gopher LGZW-1 to remotely shut-off the water supply to prevent property damage. This can be done using an interactive automation platform such as Total Connect 2.0 or Alarm.com.

We recommend having a licensed and insured plumber install the Leak Gopher LGZW-1 to prevent any plumbing issues or problems. You can control the LGZW-1 at the device itself or remotely through a Z-Wave controller. The device can also be set up with an automated rule to shut off the water when a flood sensor is activated. Please note that the LGZW-1 is a 3/4" shut-off valve.

Note: Most smart water valves operate in a way that when the device says it is ON, the water valve is actually CLOSED, and water is not running. Shutting the device to OFF will have the water valve OPEN, and water will begin running.
