Lutron PD-REP-WH

The Lutron PD-REP-WH is a Caseta wireless repeater that extends Clear Connect RF range for reliable device communication in larger homes. The PD-REP-WH is especially useful in multi-story homes, long layouts, or properties with dense construction materials that can weaken wireless signals. Adding a repeater can improve overall system stability by bridging gaps in communication coverage.

This Lutron repeater works by receiving and retransmitting signals between the Lutron Smart Bridge and connected devices such as dimmers, switches, and Pico remotes. By strengthening the signal path, it helps maintain consistent communication and reduces the likelihood of missed commands or delayed responses. Only one (1) repeater is supported per system.

Installation is simple, as the repeater plugs directly into a standard wall outlet. It is typically placed between the Smart Bridge and the farthest devices to create a stronger and more reliable communication path. This method can vary as certain building materials and metal or appliances can impede the signal. The Lutron PD-REP-WH adds to the Caseta setup via the Lutron App or system software.

The device is designed specifically for use with Lutron Caseta systems and operates using Lutron’s proprietary Clear Connect RF technology. This ensures dependable performance and seamless integration within the Caseta ecosystem. Each wireless repeater can communicate with Caseta devices within 30 ft (9 m), covering an area of approximately 2500 ft² (232 m² ), and can be placed up to 60 ft (18 m) from the Lutron bridge.
