Hi, DIYers. This is Darrell with Alarm Grid. Today we're going to show you how to arm the IQ panel 4 with the DSC power G, PG9949 two-button key fob. In this video, we're going to show you how to arm away, arm stay, and we're going to discuss the auto bypassing feature for faulted zones. The default function for the PG9949 key fob is to arm stay using the lock button. We're going to press and hold the lock button until it goes red and then release it. It will start the arming of the panel and we're going to let that arm in the stay mode. Five, four, three, two, one. Now that we've shown you how to arm stay with the key fob and its default configuration, we're going to now show you how to arm the panel in the away mode and the reason this video exists is because it's confusing on how it normally operates. You're going to press the lock button once, get your acknowledgment to start the arming process, and then press it again, you get the same process. Now, this is where you do not know if it arms away until the end of the countdown. So at the end of this countdown we should see that it now armed away. Four, three, two, one. At this time it should show that it now armed in the away mode successfully using the buttons on the key fob. You can also now disarm it using the unlock button as you did before when arming stay. And now we're going to show you about the auto bypass feature. This feature allows you to auto bypass any faulted zone when arming remotely, or arming at the panel, or when you're arming from alarm.com. If you want to disable this feature it's going to affect everything to do remotely from the key fob and from alarm.com when you're trying to arm your system from there. We're going to go into menu, settings, advanced settings. It's going to ask you for your installer code, which is 1111 by default. We're going to go to installer, we're going to go to security and arming. The easiest way to find the auto bypass feature is to go to search and start typing bypass, which is this way, which brings up the auto bypass feature, we're going to select that to turn it off. And then we're going to hide the keyboard and press the Home key to disable it. OK, DIYers. And that's how we arm the IQ panel 4 with the power G99492 button key fob. We also discuss in this video on how to arm stay and how to disable the auto bypass feature if you do not want that feature enabled.
