For VISTA
® panels with firmware revisions listed above, user codes may not work correctly after using
the
Total Connect app or portal
to sync user codes directly to the panel. In some cases, Total Connect
may not assign user codes to the correct partition.

The affected firmware versions have not been used in manufacturing since 2024
. T
herefore, VISTA
panels currently being purchased through distribution are not affected by this issue.

Recommended Actions

To correct the issue from a previous user sync or to perform a new sync:

1.

Use the
Sync All User Data
option
to perform
a full sync of the panel user data. This will give
access for up to 31 users on partition
1 only. You may need to delete duplicate user codes that
have been previously synced to user slots 33
-48 first
.
2.

Use other options to manage user codes outside of
the
Total Connect app or portal like the
AN360 portal,

Compass
, or local keypad
.
3.

For applications that require more than 31 users on partition 1 or require specific codes to be
assigned to partition 2 when using
the Total Connect app or portal
, we will offer a
replacement chip for the control panel through our technical support team. The new chip will
allow
the Total Connect app or portal
to configure the user attributes for partition assignments
.
