The 2GIG DWR100-345 is a recessed 345 MHz wireless door and window contact that sits inside the door or window frame to provide discreet yet dependable perimeter protection. Instead of mounting a traditional surface contact on the trim, this recessed design keeps the sensor out of sight for a cleaner look while still reporting open and closed states to a compatible 2GIG security panel. It includes a rare earth magnet.

The sensor communicates over the 345 MHz wireless frequency and is intended for use with systems that support 2GIG 345 MHz devices. It transmits an event when the magnet separates from the recessed sensor body, allowing the alarm panel to register open and restored states. This type of contact is ideal for doors, windows, and other openings where maintaining the appearance of the frame is important.

This recessed contact supports selectable encryption using an on-board switch to match the panel’s requirements, helping improve wireless signaling security when encryption is enabled. The device also reports common wireless sensor conditions such as alarm, restore, supervision, and low battery. Regular supervisory check-ins help the panel confirm the sensor is communicating properly.

Power is supplied by a single 3V CR-2 lithium battery, which is rated for up to five years of typical operation. The housing is made from durable ABS plastic and is designed for indoor environments within standard residential temperature ranges. Installation requires drilling a small hole in the frame to recess the sensor body, while the magnet is installed in the moving portion of the door or window.
