COVID-19 Alert To DIYers: COVID-19 has severely affected supplier inventory. Product availability, at the moment, is in flux. If you order today, depending on the product, there may be a significant delay in shipping it to you. We apologize for any delays, and assure you that products will be shipped as soon as we can get them. Before COVID, we had significant stock of nearly every popular product that we sell. But demand has outpaced our supplier's ability to meet it, and has exhausted the stock we had purchased to meet increased demand during the government-mandated lockdowns. If you need the product right away, it is unlikely we will be able to accommodate you. For that we apologize. We ask for your patience as we all navigate this unique situation together. Be nice to our employees, they are doing their best to answer your questions and get your product to you as quickly as they can.
Regarding Shipping: Like our suppliers, shipping companies have been deeply affected by the COVID-19 epidemic. Please understand, at the moment, shipping speeds are varying from their promised times. While we ship most items promptly, UPS and USPS, are often not getting products to our customers within the promised timeframe. We are unable to offer refunds for slower shipping at the moment, as this is not within our control. We pay for the shipping speed requested, and, at the moment, our shipping partners are unable to meet their own standards of speed and reliability (this is true of overnight as well) We apologize for this, but can't do anything about it. Please be aware, however, that shipping speeds still matter. While 3-day shipping may, sometimes mean 4-day shipping, it will still be faster than Ground. If you need your product quickly, please choose faster shipping, as it will be faster. But do not expect to get the product in the expected timeframe.
To installers: We have seen an uptick in orders from individuals we suspect to be professional installers. If you are here to get product quickly because you are unable to get the product at your usual supplier, rest assured, we are also out of the product and won't be able to fulfill your order in a timely manner. Like our end-users, we will be delivering products as soon as we get them in.

Description
The Alarm.com ADC-SWM150 is a smart water valve and meter that pairs with your compatible Z-Wave controller. The device can be used to remotely shut off your main water supply in the event of a leak, and it allows you to track water usage for energy monitoring and consumption purposes.
A serious water leak can cause thousands of dollars in damage. That is why security system manufacturers have built flood detection sensors to ensure that an end user is alerted when a leak occurs. There are also smart water valves that can be used to shut off the water supply in the event of a leak. But now, the ADC-SWM150 provides complete control over your water supply, while also serving as a robust and powerful water meter for tracking water usage and consumption.
By using advanced technology, the ADC-SWM150 can detect leaks of any size in your home or business. This can range from a dripping faucet to a burst water pipe. You can also use the main control unit to track water consumption and ensure that you are using water as efficiently as possible. Many users will pair the unit with one or more flood detection sensors. They can then create a smart scene to have the unit shut off the main water supply when the flood sensor detects a leak.
The Alarm.com ADC-SWM150 communicates with a compatible Z-Wave hub using Z-Wave Plus technology. It will use the advanced S2 Security Protocol if it is supported by the hub. Otherwise, the unit will simply pair using the standard S0 protocol. Please note that additional fittings may be required to connect the brass valve of the ADC-SWM150 to the water pipe. The required fittings will depend on the size, material and threading of the existing pipe. The installation process is typically completed by a plumber.
