The Alarm.com ADC-VDB780B is a battery-powered video doorbell. It requires an ADC-W115C Chime to operate. If you do not already have an ADC-W115C you must purchase the doorbell/chime bundle that contains both the doorbell and the chime. If you already have an ADC-W115C chime, then this doorbell is an excellent option when you need a wire-free option. The ADC-VDB780B features HD video, video analytics, Two-Way audio, a wide field of view, and a rechargeable battery pack.

The ADC-VDB780B is another quality Alarm.com video doorbell. The true benefit of it is its versatility and convenience. It's an excellent option if you have a broken doorbell wire or want to install it in a location that never had a doorbell. The ADC-VDB780B makes installation simple and easy.

The ADC-VDB780B has full HD resolution, a wide field-of-view, two-way audio, night vision, and a rechargeable battery. It has been optimized for battery life that is expected to last up to six months. When the battery needs charging, it can be detached and charged with an included micro-usb charging cable. The 5V/1A block charger is not included. This would need to have a standard USB connection. The same type of wall adapter is used for many cell phones and other devices.

The ADC-VDB780B must be connected to an ADC-W115C chime. It then connects to the Alarm.com application to provide notifications and alerts of desired activity. This doorbell does require a service package that includes video analytics and the doorbell cameras add-on. For Alarm Grid customers, you get a max of one (1) video doorbell with any Gold Plan (Self or Full). If you have a Platinum Plan or a Stand-alone Video Monitoring Plan, then each doorbell counts as one (1) camera. You can get a max of eight (8) cameras per video package. It is recommended that no more than eight (8) Alarm.com WIFI devices be connected to a single ADC-W115C when using it as a WIFI extender. Having more than eight (8) devices connected can negatively impact performance.
