Alarm.com LX30B-Q50TU-AUC

The Alarm.com LX30B-Q50TU-AUC is a universal communicator. It's used to takeover older compatible panels that use a POTS setup. Compatible panels allow arming and disarming via a keyswitch zone programmed into the panel. The LX30B-Q50TU can retrofit various compatible older POTS-type security systems, such as DSC, Honeywell, PIMA, GE, Paradox, Intelbras, Visonic, and Texacom.

Once installed, this communicator lets your alarm system connect to the Alarm.com platform. You can use the Alarm.com app to check system status, get alerts, and even control certain features such as arming and disarming. It’s a simple way to bring smart control to an older security system.

The LX30B-Q50TU-AUC uses the AT&T LTE network for fast and secure communication. It supports both SIA and Contact ID formats, so it can handle many types of alarm messages. It also includes a Smart Connector that helps it work with a variety of panels. The smart connector allows the use of the panel's keyswitch zone to arm and disarm the panel. The device has 8 input/output lines that can be programmed for extra features like remote arming, zone status, or relay control. Installers will find it easy to wire up. Just connect power, phone line outputs, and antenna—no special tools are needed.
