For anyone needing to enhance the cell signals for a DSC PowerSeries NEO LTE Communicator, the DSC LTE-25ANT is a fantastic choice. The LTE-25ANT is a 25-foot cellular antenna that will boost the cell signals for DSC Panels. It is recommended if the system is used far away from cell towers.

You can use the DSC LTE-25ANT with the LTE communicators for the DSC PowerSeries NEO. These include the DSC TL880LEAT N, the DSC TL880LTVZ N, and also the earlier "non-N" models. In addition, the DSC LTE-25ANT can also be paired with the LTE communicators for other DSC Alarm Panels, including the original PowerSeries, Alexor, and Impassa.

Typically, in the United States, most users are fine going with just the original "stock" antenna that comes with an LTE cellular communicator. Adding a specialized external antenna such as the DSC LTE-25ANT is usually unnecessary. But there are some users in rural areas who are too far away from cellular signal towers, and they need the extra boost that an added antenna provides. Before buying this product, you should try positioning your regular antenna as high up as possible. Also make sure that it is far away from large metal objects and facing the nearest cell tower. Note that you can also buy this same outdoor cellular antenna for DSC Alarm Systems in a shorter 15-foot length (DSC LTE-15ANT) or a longer 50-foot length (DSC LTE-50ANT. It can be mounted outside the panel's metal enclosure if desired. That may be useful if the panel is in a more accessible location than the cellular communicator. Remember to install the antenna properly so that the strongest possible signal is achieved.
