Resideo PROOUTMV

The Resideo PROOUTMV is a PIR motion sensor combined with a video camera used with the Honeywell Home PROA7PLUS or the Resideo PROA7PLUSC. These devices are known as image sensors. They produce either a 10-second full-motion video or capture a still image, your choice. Captured clips get delivered to the end-user via text, email, or the panel.

The Honeywell Home PROOUTMV ProSeries Outdoor Motion Viewer is a cutting-edge wireless security solution that combines motion-activated video, fast installation, and advanced features to enhance your home or business security. It is completely wireless, with easy-to-replace batteries for hassle-free setup. The PROOUTMV also uses two-way AES encryption which ensures secure communication. It joins the ProSeries motion viewer lineup that already includes the PROINDMV indoor motion viewer.

The PROA7PLUS supports up to eight (8) ProSeries motion viewers. If the PROA7PLUS is in Local Alarm Mode with no monitoring plan, it will only support one (1) motion viewer. When motion is detected, the camera captures an image or up to a 10-second digital video clip. The video or image is sent to the panel and Total Connect 2.0. The PROOUTMV uses a dual-element passive infrared sensor for detection. This design uses two sensing elements connected to each other in reverse polarity for motion detection. This helps to prevent false alarms.

The PROOUTMV can be configured by using Awareness (triggering only when armed) or 24-hr. Awareness Zone Response (triggers whether armed or disarmed). Neither awareness response type reports to the central monitoring station. The PROOUTMV can also be configured using Perimeter, Interior Follower, or Interior Delay response types. The burglary response type can be setup to send the alarm to the monitoring station.

The PROOUTMV is fully configurable. It has customizable sound options that include None, Chime Only, Continuous Trouble beeping, and Alarm On siren. With the included LED spotlight and night vision, it can capture images with little or no light, ensuring round-the-clock surveillance. Customize the activity area monitored by using the optional curtain sleeve to only capture what is desired. The PROOUTMV will not trigger alarms for pets up to 80 lbs when installed at the recommended height and set to low sensitivity. It features a 40' x 56' (12m x 17m) detection pattern that ensures extensive coverage.

The captures from the PROOUTMV are viewable either through the PROA7PLUS panel or in Total Connect 2.0 (TC2). TC2 does require a monitoring plan with automation included to support the eight (8) motion viewers. For Alarm Grid customers, this includes any plan Silver (self or full) or higher. A TC2 plan without home automation (self bronze) can only support one (1) motion viewer. The video or image captures will also cause a blue banner on the panel or in TC2, advising you to acknowledge the recorded image or clip. Acknowledging will cause the blue banner to disappear. In TC2, you have an option to download the captured image or video.

The PROOUTMV can be mounted on a flat wall or corner with the included bracket. There is also an optional mounting bracket, the PROOUTMV-MB. The PROOUTMV-MB allows the motion viewer to be mounted at various angles or positions. The optional PROOUTMV-CT curtain sleeve, allows you to mask part of the viewing window to only allow triggers and viewing of a desired area.

Important to Note: You can only view captured images or clips. There is no on-demand live-view function or manual trigger option for the PROOUTMV motion viewers.
