DSC PGP-IO9

The DSC PGP-IO9 is a wireless Input/Output module built for DSC’s PowerG+ alarm systems. This includes IQ Panel 4 (with firmware update), IQ Panel 5, IQ5 Hub, and IQ5 NS. It can also connect with older PowerG panels and the IQ Pro, in a fallback or legacy mode. The PGP-IO0 gives you flexible control over devices like lights, locks, or sensors while staying fully supervised by your panel.

Out of the box, the PGP-IO9 comes set to two inputs and two outputs, but it can be reconfigured for up to four inputs. Each input can be set as Normally Open, Normally Closed, End-of-Line (EOL), or Double EOL, making it adaptable to different wiring setups. Built-in front and back tamper switches provide added security, ensuring the system knows if the unit is opened or interfered with. During installation, LED indicators help you confirm the module has strong wireless signal before you lock it in place. Choose the PGP-IO9MC if you also want an integrated door/window sensor.

Because it uses secure two-way PowerG+ communication, the module constantly supervises itself with the panel and reports conditions like low battery or even temperature changes. These features make it especially useful when you need reliable feedback from connected devices.
