Regarding Shipping: Like our suppliers, shipping companies have been deeply affected by the COVID-19 epidemic. Please understand, at the moment, shipping speeds are varying from their promised times. While we ship most items promptly, UPS and USPS, are often not getting products to our customers within the promised timeframe. We are unable to offer refunds for slower shipping at the moment, as this is not within our control. We pay for the shipping speed requested, and, at the moment, our shipping partners are unable to meet their own standards of speed and reliability (this is true of overnight as well) We apologize for this, but can't do anything about it. Please be aware, however, that shipping speeds still matter. While 3-day shipping may, sometimes mean 4-day shipping, it will still be faster than Ground. If you need your product quickly, please choose faster shipping, as it will be faster. But do not expect to get the product in the expected timeframe.
To installers: We have seen an uptick in orders from individuals we suspect to be professional installers. If you are here to get product quickly because you are unable to get the product at your usual supplier, rest assured, we are also out of the product and won't be able to fulfill your order in a timely manner. DSC users who need an affordable and effective door and window contact sensor can get exactly what they need with the VERSA-DSC. This is a wireless surface-mount sensor that fits in nicely with virtually any home decor. It is sleek and compact, making it nearly invisible once installed.
You can easily identify the VERSA-DSC by its orange circuit board on the inside. This helps you differentiate the sensor from the Honeywell 5800MINI (red board), the VERSA-2GIG (yellow board) and the VERSA-GE (blue board). The VERSA-DSC is virtually the same sensor as all of the aforementioned sensors. The only difference is that it communicates at the 433 MHz frequency that is used with legacy DSC systems.
The VERSA-DSC measures 2.22"L x 1.0"W x 0.3"D. There are small indications to determine which side of the sensor to align with the magnet. The sensor uses a CR2032 coin battery, and it has an average battery life of five (5) years.

Normally I have to check on the control panel to see whether the magnet can be detected. With this there is no need to. It has a blue light indicator if the manget is detected. Additionally it has a red light to indicate battery low - haven't got chance to see it yet since the battery is still ok
