2GIG GB100-345

The 2GIG GB100-345 is a wireless glass break detector designed for 2GIG alarm systems that use the 345 MHz frequency. It listens for the distinct sound patterns made when glass is broken, detecting both the low-frequency impact and the high-frequency shatter. When both are detected in sequence, the sensor alerts the control panel that a break-in may have occurred.

This detector features adjustable sensitivity and smart audio processing to reduce false alarms from normal household sounds. It can be used in rooms with windows, glass doors, or display cases and works best when mounted on a wall or ceiling within line of sight of the glass surface.

The GB100-345 offers a selectable encryption mode for use with both older and newer systems. It sends regular supervision, tamper, and battery status signals so the panel always knows it is online. The sensor is easy to enroll and is fully compatible with 2GIG control panels such as the GC Touch, and EDGE. It also integrates with other security systems that support 345 MHz wireless devices.

Installation is quick. Mount the unit within about 15 feet of the glass you want to protect, adjust the sensitivity setting, and test it using a standard glass break simulator. The sensor runs on two CR123A lithium batteries and typically provides several years of battery life.
