2GIG TAKE100-345
345S Wireless Hardwired Takeover Module
Description
The 2GIG TAKE100-345 is a wired-to-wireless converter module that enables you to reuse your existing hardwired sensors on a wireless 345 MHz system. It’s often called the “Super Switch.” With it, up to eight wired zones—such as door contacts, motion detectors, or glass break sensors—can be transformed into fully supervised wireless zones without needing to rewire.
This module is ideal for retrofitting older systems. Rather than discarding your wired sensors, the TAKE-345 lets you integrate them into modern 2GIG systems. You wire your zone circuits into the module, supply it with 12 VDC (or compatible low voltage), and it transmits the zone signals wirelessly to your control panel. It does not support life-safety devices such as smoke, heat, or CO detectors.
The TAKE-345 is a member of the 345S sensor family, so it works smoothly with 2GIG panels like the GC Touch, and EDGE. It supports encryption (switchable on/off) to match your system’s security requirements. The unit is supervised and reports tamper and status updates, ensuring your panel always knows it’s online.
Installation is straightforward. You mount the module near existing control panel wiring, connect the hardwired sensor circuits to its zone inputs, and supply power. Multiple TAKE-345 modules can be used if your site has more than eight wired zones. Once enrolled on your control panel, those former wired sensors act just like wireless sensors.
