The Alarm.com ADC-V523 represents one of the most powerful and complete indoor recording options. This 1080p camera uses High Dynamic Range (HDR) to improve the color and contrast and make the recordings appear deeper. It also uses IR night vision to capture clear recordings in the dark.

High Dynamic Range is considered state of the art video recording technology. It is used in many newer high-end televisions, and helps recordings appear deeper and more luminous. Couple this with the 1080p recording quality, and you can count on the ADC-V523 to produce some of the best quality recordings you will ever see. And the camera will continue to produce top-quality images in the dark thanks to its IR night vision range of 15 feet.

Alarm.com put all the great features you would want into the ADC-V523. The camera supports Video Analytics, which allow you to use the device in a number of different ways. You can receive alerts whenever a person, animal, or vehicle enters a designated coverage area. Alarm.com Video Analytics are smart enough to actively distinguish between different sources of movement so that you are only alerted when needed. You can even use Video Analytics to establish multiple coverage areas so that only movement in a certain spot will trigger an alert.

Another great aspect of the ADC-V523 is its 117° field of view, which increase the area that the device covers. This can mean having to add fewer cameras in order to achieve your desired level of coverage. The camera is fully compatible with both the Alarm.com website and mobile app. You might also consider adding an Alarm.com ADC-SVR122 to unlock the potential for continuous 24 hour recording. Alarm.com will also allow you to take advantage of the camera's built-in microphone and speaker and have live two-way conversations with anyone in front of the camera.

Please note that both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz WIFI networks are supported by the ADC-V523. It can use WPS or an Access Point (AP) for pairing. The camera can also utilize a wired ethernet connection for network access, but it cannot support power over ethernet (PoE). Otherwise, you can use the included power adapter for powering the camera. You will need a compatible monitoring plan with Alarm.com video surveillance to use this camera. Alarm Grid customers will need either a Platinum Plan (Self or Full) or a standalone Video Monitoring Plan. The camera can be permanently mounted, or you can do a tool-free installation by simply resting the camera on a table or desk. The camera is for indoor use only.
