A very useful accessory for the Arlo HD, Arlo Pro and Arlo Pro 2 Cameras is the Arlo VMA1100 Table and Ceiling Mount. This device add-on lets you install your Arlo Camera securely on the ceiling or place it on a desk or table for ease of use. Then the camera can be used from that position.

Each of the Arlo Security Cameras comes with its own magnetic mount for basic installation. But some users might want to mount the camera in a different manner. This accessory allows users to mount their Arlo Camera on the ceiling or place it on a desk or table to suit their recording needs. The add-on can be applied in a matter of seconds, and it keeps the camera securely in-place at all times.

Any Arlo Camera should be placed within 300 feet of the associated Arlo Base Station for optimal connectivity. Users should keep in mind though that walls and other obstacles can reduce this maximum range. Ideally, the user should mount the camera in a position where an intruder would need to walk directly past it from the side. This will allow the integrated motion sensor to work as effectively as possible.
