Kwikset Home Connect 620

The Kwikset Home Connect 620 in Satin Nickel is an attractive deadbolt smart lock for use with Z-Wave controllers. It does have a key slot, so it is perfect for use in installations where both keyless and keyed entry are required. If you have a user that simply cannot remember a code for entry, you can provide that person with a key.

The Home Connect 620 features Kwikset's SmartKey Security™. This feature protects against advanced break-in attempts, and allows the homeowner to re-key the lock themselves in just a few seconds. No need to contact a locksmith. The SmartKey Security™ re-key technology is compatible with Kwikset (KW1) keyway, or (SC1) keyway options.

If you're replacing an existing deadbolt with the Kwikset Home Connect 620, the lock can install in just a few minutes with only a screwdriver. By adding a smart lock, you can integrate the door lock with a Z-Wave compatible security system. Most systems allow you to create a scene or other automation feature where unlocking the door with a proper code will also disarm the security system, for quick and hassle-free entry into the home.

The lock has a 1" (2.54cm) deadbolt throw, and includes a round deadbolt strike. The deadbolt latch has a round corner faceplate. The lock comes with two (2) keys and requires 4 AA batteries, which are included. The exterior keypad stays lit for 30 seconds after the final button press. The interior portion of the lock functions with a turn piece. The Home Connect 620 is ANSI/BHMA grade 2 certified.
