This 3-1 kit includes the IQ4 Hub 319.5 MHz Security System with an integrated AT&T LTE Cellular Communicator and dual-band WIFI capability, three (3) VERSA-GE Door/Window Contacts, and one (1) Qolsys IQ Motion-S Encrypted Motion Detector. This is a perfect starter kit for an apartment or small home.
The Qolsys IQ4 Hub is a feature-packed security panel and automation controller. It features optional automatic Bluetooth disarming, support for up to four (4) partitions, the live streaming of Alarm.com video cameras to the panel, including the video doorbell, Z-Wave Plus 800 Series controller, and much more.
Qolsys tags the IQ4 Hub as the cost-effective option compared to the IQ Panel 4. What has Qolsys taken away when compared to the IQ Panel 4? The Qolsys IQ4 Hub does not have a manually adjustable 8 MP front-facing camera. It also has 3 fewer speakers, 2 fewer microphones, and lacks the ability to support two (2) distinct wireless sensor frequencies on the same panel.
This IQ4 Hub kit features three (3) VERSA-GE window or door sensors. They are smaller-sized sensors when compared to other door and window sensors, measuring just a mere 2.2 inches long by 1 inch wide. The sensor uses a single CR2032 coin-cell battery. It is equipped with an LED that will assist in magnet alignment during startup. Also featured, is one (1) Qolsys IQ Motion-S. The IQ motion measures 3.4 inches long by 2.4 inches wide, while still covering an open area of up to 30 x 40 feet. It also contains a pet mode that is pet-friendly for animals up to 40 lbs when proper mounting instructions are followed. The IQ Motion-S is powered by two (2) AAA batteries.
