When purchasing a security system for a small business, there are certain things needed to get started. Our small business security system kits include everything that is needed in one super convenient package. We offer different packages that will meet the unique needs of any growing company. If you ever need any help or assistance choosing the perfect kit for your small business, then our support team is happy to help you online or over the phone.
The centerpiece of a small business security system kit is the panel. This is the piece of hardware used to control the rest of the setup. Our small business security system kits all include wireless panels that are easy to operate. These systems also make it very simple to set up any security sensors. A business owner can add multiple user codes to the panel so that different employees will be able to arm and disarm the system with their own unique code whenever they need to. Most wireless systems will then allow the master user to view the event log so that they can see who has accessed the system and when. This is great for situations where a business owner needs to know which employee armed or disarmed the system.
The type of security panel varies between different kits. We offer small business security kits that include great panels, such as the Honeywell Lyric Controller, the Honeywell L5210, the Honeywell L7000 and the 2GIG GC3. All of these panels are great for use with small businesses. We recommend researching these panels so that you can decide on the perfect system for your small business. All of the necessary information about each security panel can be found on our website. Check our FAQs.
Our small business security system kits also include various security sensors that are used with the system. Our kits generally include a PIR motion sensor and a certain number of door and window contacts. You should check the kit before purchasing to make sure that it includes everything you need for your small business. Please note that other sensors, such as glass break and life-safety sensors will need to be purchased separately. You can find any of these sensors conveniently available for purchase separately on the Alarm Grid website.
Finally, many of our small business security system kits provide a cellular communicator for use with the panel. Cellular communication is the most reliable communication path that can be used with a security system. While IP communication is often down or unavailable, cellular communication is almost never down and extremely reliable. With cellular communication, your small business will be fully protected, even in the event of a power outage. Check your small business security system kit to see if it includes a cellular communicator. Please note that a monitoring plan that includes cellular service is needed to use a cellular communicator with a security system. Check with your alarm monitoring company to see if your monitoring plan includes this service.
