Description
This kit features the IQ4 Hub 345 MHz Security System with an integrated Verizon LTE Cellular Communicator, ten (10) VERSA-2GIG Door/Window Contacts, and one (1) 5800PIR-RES Motion Detector. It is a great kit if you are upgrading your alarm panel that currently uses Honeywell or 2GIG 345 MHz sensors, or it can be a good starter kit.
Qolsys has delivered with the release of the IQ Panel 4. It was fully loaded though and some users didn't need or want all of its advanced features. Then the IQ4 Hub was born. With it, Qolsys removed some of the additional, non-essential features, so they could offer the IQ4 Hub as a more cost-effective option.
The IQ4 Hub is still packed with lots of features. The system still has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8-core processor, 16GB of NAND Flash memory, and support for dual-band WIFI. It allows for live viewing from Alarm.com cameras, Live Answer with Alarm.com doorbells, 128 zones, 242 user codes, and an integrated Z-Wave Plus V2 controller with support for 800-series modules.
Pairing the IQ4 Hub with a collection of 345 MHz wireless sensors allows for a great system for any home, office, or large apartment. This kit includes ten (10) door/window sensors from VERSA, and one (1) Honeywell/Resideo 5800 Series motion sensor. The VERSA door and window sensors have a range of 500+ feet in open air, are powered by a single CR2032 coin-cell battery, and offer a low profile. The 5800PIR-RES motion sensor has a 35 by 40 foot detection area, up to 80 lb pet immunity when properly installed, and gets its power from a single 3V Lithium battery. These sensors allow this kit to be a great choice for anyone looking to upgrade to an IQ4 Hub that has existing 345 MHz wireless sensors that don't require replacement.
