The Honeywell Home PROA7PLUS031V is a 3-1 system kit that includes a Honeywell Home PROA7PLUS Security Panel, three (3) PROSIXMINI3 Encrypted Contacts, one (1) PROSIXPIRV Encrypted Motion, a PROLTE-V2 Verizon LTE Communicator, and a Honeywell LT-Cable. It is a dual-path ready alarm system.

A 3-1 system kit includes three (3) door and window contacts and one (1) motion detection sensor. These kits are usually used in smaller homes or apartments. If you need to expand or build upon the system later on, then you totally have that option available. This system includes a built-in WIFI card, and it also connects with the Verizon LTE Network using its included communicator. A system that uses both WIFI and cellular like this one is called a dual-path system. You will usually have WIFI as the primary path, and the cellular path will serve as a backup in case the internet goes out. In order to use this type of setup, you will need a monitoring plan that includes cellular service. Examples of compatible plans include both the Self and Full Gold and Platinum Level Plans from Alarm Grid.

You will also enjoy the system's integrated Z-Wave Plus features, automatic Bluetooth disarming, and four (4) available system partitions. The panel itself offers a sleek and modern design, and its user interface allows for easy menu navigation using the system's 7-inch touchscreen. We advise getting a monitoring plan that includes access to the Total Connect 2.0 platform. This is the service that you will use to control your system remotely. You can access the service using a web browser or a mobile app on your phone. A former limitation of the PROA7PLUS was that it did not support local end-user programming but as of firmware version 03.591.92.0 it now supports programming at the panel. Another update, 03.1868.32.0, added support for integration with Apple HomeKit.

Important Note: The PROA7 and PROA7PLUS systems only support PROSIX and SiX series sensors from the factory. If you plan to use any legacy RF sensors, including Honeywell 5800 Series, 2GIG (non-encrypted) 345 MHz, Qolsys or Interlogix 319.5 MHz, DSC 433 MHz, or Bosch 433 MHz sensors, you will need to add a PROTAKEOVER module to your system.
