Alarm Grid LYNX-WEXT

Alarm Grid's LYNX-WEXT is the wired version of the LYNX-EXT. This kit comes with all of the pieces needed to make a wired siren compatible with any of the LYNX Touch security systems. This unit comes with a metal cabinet enclosure, a wired relay, a transformer, a battery and a power supply - everything that is needed beside the wired siren itself. You can also add a cam lock to secure the cabinet.

While the 5800WAVE is a perfectly adequate siren for most wireless applications, adding a wired siren gives an installer a few more options, not to mention the ability to put it outdoors. While the alternative kit includes a wireless relay, adding a bit of versatility and avoiding the need to run a wire back to the panel, those for whom the convenience is expensive, this wired kit fits the bill.
