Description
This large kit includes the IQ4 Hub 345 MHz Security System with an integrated AT&T LTE Cellular Communicator, ten (10) VERSA-2GIG Door/Window Contacts, and one (1) 5800PIR-RES Motion Detector. It is a great kit if you are looking to protect multiple doors or windows.
Qolsys listened to the feedback it received. Many installs only used one (1) wireless frequency. Some did not want the built-in camera. Others wanted a cheaper option when these additional features in the IQ Panel 4 aren't used. So the IQ4 Hub was born. It removed some less desired features so that Qolsys could offer this panel at a lower cost.
The IQ4 Hub is still feature-packed and an excellent option for protecting your home or business. The IQ4 Hub has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8-core processor, 16GB of NAND Flash memory, and offers support for dual-band WIFI. It also supports live viewing from Alarm.com cameras, Live-Answer from Alarm.com doorbells, 128 zones, and 242 user codes.
We have paired the IQ4 Hub with a collection of 345 MHz wireless sensors. This includes ten (10) door/window sensors from VERSA, and one (1) Honeywell/Resideo motion sensor. The VERSA door and window sensors have a range of 500+ feet in open air and are powered by a single CR2032 coin-cell battery. The motion sensor has a detection area of 35 by 40 feet, up to 80 lb pet immunity when properly installed, and gets its power from a single 3V Lithium battery.
These sensors make this a well-rounded package. It can serve as a starter kit or can be used as an add-on when you are upgrading an alarm panel where working Honeywell or 2GIG 345 MHz sensors are still in use.
