Can I Use a Honeywell 5853 glass break on a Vista 10P?

Yes, a wireless Honeywell 5853 Glass Break Detector is compatible with a Vista 10P control panel.

The Vista 10P control panel comes equipped with 6 hardwired zones on board and 16 wireless expansion zones. There are two options to utilize the 16 wireless expansion zones and have the 5853 Glass Break Detector communicate with the Vista 10P. Install a wireless receiver or a RF keypad. Honeywell’s 5881ENL wireless receiver supports up to 8 wireless zones, the 5881ENM wireless receiver supports up to sixteen and the 5881ENH wireless receiver supports unlimited wireless zones. Since the Vista 10P only supports 16 wireless zones, the 5881ENL or the 5881ENM would be sufficient. Honeywell’s RF keypads have a wireless receiver and transmitter module built right into them providing the best of both worlds and eliminates the installation of separate devices. The 6150RF has a 5881ENM wireless receiver supporting up to sixteen wireless zones and a 5800TM transmitter module built in. The 6160RF has a 5881ENH wireless receiver that supports an unlimited amount of wireless zones and a 5800TM transmitter module built in. The 6162RF has a 5881ENH wireless receiver supporting an unlimited amount of wireless zones and a 5800TM transmitter module built right in. keypads have a wireless receiver built right in. While the 6150RF keypad is suffice in supporting the number of wireless zones for the Vista 10P, it is a fixed English keypad and a user cannot program from it. The 6160RF and the 6162RF are both alphanumeric keypads and are capable of programming which makes it very easy to add the 5853 Glass Break Detector.
