How Do I Get Total Connect 2.0 To Send A Text?
First, log into Total Connect 2.0. Once logged in, click on My Profile” located in the gray menu bar towards the top right of the screen. Go to the middle column labeled “Email Address List” . If the first window has email information entered, scroll down to the next available window. Click “SMS” and a phone number slide will appear - type the cell phone number in the slide. Below the phone number, there will be a slide for cell phone carrier, click on the arrow for a drop down menu and scroll until your carrier’s name appears. Highlight the carrier name and click, this will auto populate the carriers name. Click “Save” to update and to save all changes. Once saved you will begin receiving text notifications on alarm events.
Receiving email and text notifications helps a user stay connected to family and home, providing peace of mind knowing real time alerts on events and activities will be received.
