The 2GIG ANT5XL-GC3 LTE Cellular Communicator Antenna works to boost the communication strength and signal reliability for the 2GIG GC3 System. With better signal strength, the panel will enjoy a better cellular reception and more consistent communication with the Alarm.com service.

Being able to communicate reliably with Alarm.com is critical for the GC3 System. Alarm.com forwards any alarm signals to a central monitoring station and/or the end user, which is essentially the entire purpose of monitoring service. Better communication with Alarm.com will also allow Z-Wave devices to respond more quickly when activated remotely.

Flexible mounting options make the 2GIG-ANT5XL-GC3 easier to achieve a proper install and ensure excellent communication with the cell tower. The device can be rotated to face directly towards a cell tower or away from obstacles that could cause interference. The device is designed for use with GC3 LTE Communicators only, and it connects into the GC3 Cell Radio SLED. It features a 10-foot coax cable, and it has a weather protection rating of IP-65. However, we recommend installing the device in an attic rather than an outdoor setting. The antenna dimensions measure 195mm by 39mm.
